Community Meeting Center
Nolin RECC Facility Available to Public
The co-op meeting center is open to most types of meetings, including clubs, civic organizations and non-profit businesses. Because of the demand on the facility from organized clubs, the room is not available for functions like personal showers, weddings, reunions and birthday parties.
The center will accommodate 75 people during business hours and 120 people on evenings and weekends. The meeting center is equipped with a catering kitchen, which is perfect for potlucks and the ice machine will accommodate large meetings and dinners. High-speed Internet access is available in the meeting center for a small fee.
Non-profit groups use the center FREE of charge. But Nolin must charge a usage fee to for-profit organizations. Like anything else, a few restrictions are placed on the center and each group is asked to sign a usage agreement.
