At Nolin RECC, we are committed to those we serve. We embrace the concept that continual evolution and improvement is the only way to meet the growing and changing needs of our members. To that point, we are endeavoring a rebranding to best represent who we are and what we hope to become. The logo you see on the cover of this report is both a tribute to our heritage as well as a fresh, crisp look that will serve us well as we move into the future. While the logo itself is a small change, it represents a larger theme of improvements taking place at your cooperative.
As we all know, the unfortunate and devastating health and economic impacts of COVID-19 have made business as usual nearly impossible. Despite this, we have stayed hard at work at Nolin RECC and feel that we have many exciting things on the horizon. In the coming months, you may notice several key changes. We are currently undertaking a major overhaul of our website. This is being done to oﬀer you a more user-friendly experience that is both easy to navigate and more aesthetically pleasing. For those of you who receive mailed paper bills from us, we are working on a bill re-design that we believe will oﬀer a much cleaner, graphically-oriented and informative way for you to view the individual elements that eﬀect your bill. We are also in the infancy of building a helpful, informational and hopefully entertaining podcast program called Wire-to-Wire with Nolin RECC. All of these things are important reﬂections of our commitment to the members we serve.
For those of you with an energy conservation focus, we are now several months into an exciting new program called BYOT–Bring Your Own Thermostat. For members who wish to participate in this program, enrollment is simple. You sign up through your qualifying Wi-Fi thermostat manufacturer, which allows for your device to be controlled during peak times to oﬀset system demand. In exchange for this, you receive a one-time $10 bill credit and a $20 annual credit thereafter for ongoing enrollment. If you purchased your thermostat on or after March 2, 2019, you may be eligible for an additional $100 bill credit.
Even though COVID-19 has created operational challenges for Nolin RECC, it has allowed us to round out some previously untapped technologies and skillsets. Bringing these things into focus now should only make us stronger in the future. We are proud to be your cooperative and look forward to seeing you soon. Read More
