Demand Side Management Programs – TFS2019-00060
On January 30, 2019 Nolin RECC filed proposed tariffs that revise or eliminate certain Demand Side Management(DSM) programs that are currently in effect. Each of the DSM tariffs are voluntary in nature. Nolin RECC does not have a DSM Rider in effect, so there will be no change in the rates charged for electric service to any customer class. To view the full request click on the PSC Tariff Filings link below. A link to the full notice can also be found below, along with a link to the tariff. More information on this filing can be found on the PSC website at psc.ky.gov
If Nolin RECC’s requests are approved, the proposed effective date is March 1, 2019. Please see the links below for more information.

Lighting Tariff Revisions – TFS2019-00521
Pursuant to the Kentucky Public Service Commission’s (“Commission”) regulation 807 KAR 5:011, Section 8, Nolin Rural Electric Cooperative Corporation (RECC) gives notice that tariffs requesting approval to replace High Pressure Sodium (H.P.S.) lights with Light Emitting Diode (L.E.D.) will be submitted to the Commission on October 1, 2019. If Nolin RECC’s requests are approved, the tariff will be effective November 1, 2019, at which time the new condition of service will apply.
Nolin will begin to phase out all H.P.S. fixtures upon failure and replace with L.E.D. Additionally, newly installed fixtures may be L.E.D. as dictated by supply levels. Upon replacement, the member will be responsible for the current L.E.D. rates, if applicable, as approved in Rate Schedule 5 and Rate Schedule 6.
