Virtual Summer Energy Camp

The deadline for 2021 has passed. Please watch this page for 2022 opportunities.

We are partnering with Kentucky NEED (National Energy Education Development) Project to send selected local 4th-6th graders on a 3-Day Virtual Summer Energy Camp adventure! The dates for the camp are July 27-29.

Nolin will be selecting 6 students to attend with students from around Kentucky. Students who live with a Nolin member and are going into 4th – 6th grade are invited to apply.

Throughout the 3 days, students will work on hands-on energy, engineering, and sustainability projects with a culminating presentation of their work.   The schedule is a mix of general sessions and small group sessions with students working with a mentor.   The camp will be hosted virtually in Zoom (campers must have access to reliable internet and computer/mobile device to use Zoom for the three day period).

Nolin will be sponsoring 6 students, there is NO COST for those students to attend. You can apply by completing the form below or picking up an application at our E’town or Radcliff office. Deadline to apply is Monday, July 12.

6 students will be randomly selected from those who apply – we will notify those selected by July 13.
