Buddy Rosenberger was born and lived on a farm in Valley Station until he was 25. In 1955, his dad sold some land for a subdivision and purchased farmland in Hardin County. Buddy married his wife, Carol, in 1965 and in November of that year, they brought Buddy’s family’s milk cows to the farm in Hardin County to start their lives together.
Their farm lies in District 1 of the Nolin service area and Buddy has represented District 1 on the Nolin RECC Board of Directors since July of 1978. Buddy also served as a director on the board of East Kentucky Power Cooperative (EKPC) representing Nolin for 32 of those years. In addition, he has served in the role of Secretary/Treasurer of Nolin RECC and EKPC boards.
June 2023 will mark the end of Buddy’s 45 years of service as a Nolin RECC director. He and Carol will continue to reside on their farm as Nolin members.
Nolin is grateful for the many years that Buddy has given in service to the cooperative and our members.
