
CONGRATULATIONS to the 2023 Nolin RECC Scholarship recipients!

Nolin RECC, A Touchstone Energy Cooperative, awards $13,000 in scholarship funds to local students each year. The cooperative provides electricity to over 35,000 members in Hardin, LaRue and seven surrounding counties. These scholarship opportunities are just one way Nolin helps promote education and growth in these communities.
We have several scholarship opportunities. Applications for 2024 will be available in December 2023. See application form for application requirements and submission details.
For graduating high school seniors:
- Six (6) $1500 scholarships will be awarded to graduating high school students whose parent/guardian is a Nolin member in good standing. These scholarships will be awarded based on a random drawing of applicants (who complete the application process) at the Nolin RECC Member Advisory Council (MAC) Meeting in Spring 2024 (date TBA). APPLICANTS MUST BE PRESENT TO WIN*
- One (1) $2500 Bob Wade, Sr Memorial Scholarship will be awarded to a graduating high school student whose parent/guardian is a Nolin member in good standing. The recipient of this scholarship will be chosen by a selection committee from among applicants who complete the application process. Applicants do NOT need to be present to be selected. The recipient will be announced at the MAC meeting.
For members 21 or older:
- One (1) $1500 continuing education scholarship will be awarded to an adult co-op member who is re-entering or continuing college. This scholarship will be awarded based on a random drawing of applicants (who complete the application process) at the Nolin RECC Member Advisory Council Meeting in Spring 2024 (date TBA). APPLICANTS MUST BE PRESENT TO WIN*

Women in Rural Electrification (WIRE) is offers three $1,000 scholarships to current Kentucky college students. The scholarships are open to any eligible student whose family is served by a Kentucky Electric Cooperative (including Nolin RECC) and has at least 60 hours of credit at a Kentucky college or university by the start of the spring term. The deadline for 2023 has passed – watch our social media channels for the next application window to open in 2024.
