Economic growth in Hardin and surrounding counties is increasing the need for residences to house the workforce locating in the area. This has caused a noticeable increase in the residential developments around the Nolin service area.
Several of the larger developments are located in Nolin District 2:
THE RESERVE AT COOL SPRINGS
This multi-resident apartment development currently has 216 meters connected with an additional 120 announced.
BUFFALO RIDGE
This development will feature quad units totaling 110 meters on Nolin service (additional meters served by KU due to territory boundaries).
SUMMIT CREEK
This development lies partially in Nolin District 2, mostly in District 3 and will feature 260 homes when completed. Approximately 100 homes are currently occupied.
